Kawazu Zakura is the earliest-blooming cherry blossoms from early February to early March. These cherry blossoms have special characteristic of large and pink flowers. You can enjoy seeing these earliest-blooming cherry blossoms even in Honsho(the main island of Japan) The line of deeper pink Kawazu cherry trees continues for about 4km is the highlight. Street stalls of a local products and food will be lined in a row during the Kawazu Zakura Festival(2nd Oct- 3rd Oct), crowded with many tourist every year.
